Meet the makers

Messy project folders, complicated naming conventions and scattered files have been frustrating enough to create Tigerdrive. Ben Rogmans and Sebastiaan van Leeuwen, two problem-solvers from The Netherlands, are on a mission to tackle the issues that keep slowing us down.

"Whether we were making music or juggling multiple projects and clients in our day jobs, we always ran into the same chaos: confusing file names, duplicate versions and lost progress. After one too many 'final_final_v3' folders, we built Tigerdrive to bring order to the chaotic jungle of folders and files."

Ben Rogmans is the creator of Tigerdrive. As a software/embedded/electrical/audio engineer, he experienced too often how difficult it is to manage project files. With his mindset, no problem is too big or too small to be solved with a fresh approach, a cup of coffee and a keyboard.

"I believe that the best tools are the ones that help you focus on work and not on the tool itself. Tigerdrive is designed to be simple and efficient, so you'll spend less time managing files and more time creating."

Being a product manager and music producer, Sebastiaan van Leeuwen is pushing Tigerdrive to the next level. He's obsessed with creating great user experiences. He believes the best tools remove clutter, help you stay organised and in control — without distractions. And if that principle stands with designing software, it for sure stands with managing folders.
